Someone just posted something about Bertha Stark. I forgot about her. She used to point to someone (me a lot..I was voted class clown)) in line and say in a loud voice while rotating her shoulder( she must have had a shoulder problem or something)"Get out big boy, do you know why?"

Everyone in the sixties has to remember her. Funny stuff.She was knda old then so maybe she never made the seventies.. Neil

I beleive she was the  art teacher who marched around the room in a commanding fashion and yell " I wasnt to see light bright colors that fight."  I think she ended my art career by ripping up my picture because I could not get them to have dimension.

She was called "BIG BERTHA" for 2 reasons :

1. She had a loud"BIG mouth ! When she yelled the whole school shook !

2. I don't know why she was able to stand up straight because she had boobs that had to sag to her knees !!!!!!

I never had Bertha Stark, but I believe that my art teacher, Brunnie Costanza, was even meaner.

        I had Mrs.Stark and Costanza for art and I used to

       think that neither one liked me until I saw Mrs.Stark

       tear into one of my classmates for having her hair in

       a particular style. Mrs.Costanza wasn't as bad as Mrs.Stark.!!!
