Mrs Petitto was my math teacher and made me class banking monitor. She used to drive me to chase manhattan bank on northern blvd. to put everyones quarters in the bank. I think i had twenty five dollars when i graduated. The teller there was Mrs. Greenberg, the mother of Bruce,Karen, and Sandy from Van Zandt Ave. I love math. thanks Mrs Petitto! I also love typing, thanks Mrs Goldstein.

Mrs. Petito was also my geometry math tutor.  She was a sweet and patient woman.  Mrs. Goldstein turned me into a great typist/keyboarder at 93/wpm.  Mrs. Berger, a science teacher at Louis Pasteur was a wonderful influence in my life.  She taught me organization and the scientifc method, which I have utilized in my work as a social researcher and also when I worked as a licensed medical laboratory technologist.  Academically, my education was much better at the elementary school and middle school level rather than the high school level.  That is true to this day.  Things fall apart at the high school level in nyc.
