They had Kosher ham and Kosher cannolis; that wasn't the problem.  By the way our waiter's name was Jesus (Pronounced Hey-soose), not Irving, and he is an ex-major league shortstop from The Dominican Republic, thats why he wore a baseball glove while serving our food.

Little that you know about Herring!   I look foward to the reunion at the Douglaston Manor because they will probably have a wide variety of herring at the buffet table.  There's Schmaltz Herring, Herring in Cream Sauce, Herring in Wine Sauce, Matjes Herring, Chopped Herring Salad,  Herring Fillets with Capers, Herring Soup, Herring Candy, and Cherry Herring. 

In Oslo, Norway they hold the yearly Herring Race up and down the Fjords.  They also chose a Miss Norway Herring who then competes in the Miss World Herring contest held in Gdanzst Poland every St. Olafs Day.  I know more about Herring than you EJ Korvettes' employees.

Mrs. Lord was my 1st teacher in 7th grade the year after you. Didn't know there was a 6th grade in JHS 67. That year I was in the play The King and I that she put on for the school. I had to miss 2 performances because of my Bar Mitzvah.
