LENNY GORLICK IF THIS IS JONI'S BROTHER. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR HIM HE IS A DOCTOR IN CALIF. ON WILSHIRE BLVD.
I WAS IN CONTACT WITH HIM MANY YEARS AGO BUT NEVER GOT IN TO SEE HIM. I THINK BECAUSE HE WAS A PROCTOLIGEST AND THOUGHT IF I BENT OVER I WAS GOING TO GET A FREE TEST.

My store, Whirlin' Disc Records was voted the best record store on LI in the LI Press magazine. Dawn posted it on the main page. However, those of you who are living on LI or have family and/or friends who do can click on the link to see other businesses that were voted #1 in their categories.

I would like to thank Dawn, Sue & Ken for posting the link on the main page, as well those on my mailing list who voted to help make our store #1. If you like the music that plays on the main page, we have all of that plus more, in all formats. 45's, LP's, cassettes, CD's and even a few 8 tracks.

Thanks again.

... even if you are not a baby boomer ... funny, how life changes, when you get older ... It's been fun being a baby boomer... until now.

Some of the artists of the 60's are revising their hits with new lyrics to accommodate aging baby boomers:
They include:
Herman's Hermits--- Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Walker
Ringo Starr --- I Get By With a Little Help From Depends
The Bee Gees --- How Can You Mend a Broken Hip?
Bobby Darin --- Splish, Splash, I Was Havin' a Flash
Roberta Flack --- The First Time Ever I Forgot Your Face
Johnny Nash --- I Can't See Clearly Now!

Paul Simon--- Fifty Ways to Lose Your Liver

The Commodores--- Once, Twice, Three Times to the Bathroom

Procol Harem--- A Whiter Shade of Hair
Leo Sayer --- You Make Me Feel Like Napping
The Temptations--- Papa's Got a Kidney Stone
Abba --- Denture Queen
Tony Orlando--- Knock 3 Times On The Ceiling If You Hear Me Fall
Helen Reddy--- I Am Woman, Hear Me Snore
Leslie Gore --- It's My Procedure, and I'll Cry If I Want Too!

Hello all. Thought I'd like to share what an old friend has been up to.

I've been writing song lyrics for a very long time but never met anyone who could put music to the lyrics I write. Until now. With the advent of myspace and other technological wonders I've been able to make contacts with musician's interested in putting music to my lyrics.

If you go to www.myspace.com/cablumsongwriterlyricist you'll come to my myspace page. I don't think you have to be a myspace member to just go to the page.

On my page there are 5 songs playing. I co-wrote all 5. "I Get It Now," "Me Myself And I," "Love Sunrise," and "Smoke Signals," were all co-written with some wonderful musician songwriter's down in Nashville. "Love Song" was co-written with a young singer songwriter down in Fla.

Would love to hear what anyone thinks. Hope everyone is well.

Chet Blum

We're replacing about half the windows in our home in Silver Spring, MD with new (replacement) windows - including the bay window, all the other windows facing the street, as well as the sliding door and picture window in the living room, facing the deck and back yard.
The other windows will have to wait because there are two large trees, one on either side of the front of the house (a maple and an elm) that must come down *before they fall on the house*!
It'll be nice, when I get up at 5AM and I can stand in the kitchen without feeling like I'm in the middle of a nor'easter! I get the feeling that my wife and children will be pleased as well!
Remember to enjoy the little things in life!
