To all of my classmates and teachers, may you all
have simply the very bets Thanksgiving ever.
We should all be so very thankful to have each other
as classmates and friends still after all these years.
Thank you all for being friends first and classmates
second. Attending JHS 67 at that time is an experience
that I'll never forget. You all will forever be in my
heart and prayers.

Always,
Albert Chapman

BERGEN COUNTY PLAYERS PRESENTS RAPUNZARELLA WHITE
A CLEVER MUSICAL COMEDY FOR CHILDREN ABOUT
RAPUNZEL, CINDERELLA, AND SNOW WHITE

Written by June Rachelson-Ospa and Daniel Neiden
Direction by Frank Avellino

The Bergen County Players (BCP) presents Rapunzarella White, a musical comedy for children by June Rachelson-Ospa and Daniel Neiden. Under the direction of Frank Avellino, Rapunzarella White will be performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell from November 28 through December 20, 2009, with performances on Fridays at 8pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 1pm and 3:30pm. Tickets can be purchased online at www.bcplayers.org, by calling 201-261-4200 or by visiting the box office at 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell NJ during regular box office hours.

Rapunzarella White is a brand new musical tale spun from the familiar threads of Rapunzel, Cinderella, and Snow White, in which they are actually triplets cast off into their own separate stories by a very angry witch. Herschel, an adorable Fairy Tailor, weaves together their sad plights before our favorite fairy tale princesses reunite as sisters, when each finds her true Prince Charming...and true love. “Happily Ever After” may never have seemed so far off, but fear not...as in all fairy tales, happiness and love prevail..

Hello everyone. Just wanted to say that I recently had 2 more songs demo'd down in Nashville. One of the new songs I had demo'd is called "A Love Song For My Father." For those of you who remember my dad - - Robert Blum - - I wrote the song for him. The second song is called "Before She Can't Remember" which I recently wrote for my mom who is suffering from dementia.

Stop by my myspace page and take a listen. Let me know what you think.

DOES ANYONE REMEMBER CHOU CHOU CUP? A MEAL ON WHEELS AND I CAN STILL TASTE IT. ALSO BUDS NEAR JHS67 DOWN THE HILL JUST BEFORE NORTHERN BLVD, HAD THE BEST SUBS OR HEROES IN THE WORLD. HAM AND CHEESE ,LETTUCE ,TOMATO, MUSTARD BUT DONT TELL RABBI DICKER, OR CANTOR RACKOFF PLEASE. ONE OTHER MEMORY, TRIP TO THE MOON!

Chow chow cup came around where I lived in Glen Oaks. Sort of ahead of its time..today restaurants have a "birds nest" with seafood and Chinese vegetables/chicken in it or whatever...just like the truck..only the truck tasted better even though it had mostly slimy stuff in it..we were young I guess!

BTW...I was in your neck of the woods on the Heights in December 1981 when it was annexed..one of six civilians with the army up there..scary stuff listening to 25000 crazy Syrians on the other side of the U.N. checkpoint ready to attack. At night I stayed at Kfar Goladi(sp) and took tranquilizers..lucky they did not attack, I was ready..drugged up but ready... Glad to see the area is permenant..never ever give it back..too pretty up there..Neil

Come on guys. These people have given their all to make this reunion a reality once more and if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have these great memories to share. So please get off your wallets and help them with the funds they need to make this reunion a pleasant one. If you're planning to attend don't wait until the last minute. Thank you.

Vicki Ray (Blitenthal) (1968)

Thank you Dawn, Sue and Ken for a fabulous reunion. I didn't think you could top the last one, but you did. There may have been less people, but quality is better than quantity sometimes.

It was a lot of fun to see a few teachers this time. I never had the pleasure of having Mr. Ruben for metal shop, but a few of my friends were lucky enough to take metal shop when girls usually didn't, because they needed to fill the class. He seems like a really nice guy, and to come all the way from San Diego was great. I did have Mr. Rattien for 7th and 8th grade science, and although not my best subject, he helped me pass it. He looks fabulous, he must have been just out of college when he taught us 42 years ago.

I was happy to reconnect with Claire Hammer, class of '61. She was my counselor at the Samuel Field Y and I had been wanting to find out about her. Thanks Claire's friend Tonni, for convincing her to go, and to Dawn for her detective work. It was wonderful seeing Nelia Seckel and Leta Lyons too, who are also Claire's friends from the class of '61. Nelia and Leta lived in the Westmoreland Gardens when I was a little girl, and Leta and Nelia's sister Laurie used to run an informal day camp. They all look wonderful.

I was glad to see Pam Krebs and her husband Herman. We had been in touch by phone, but it was wonderful seeing her in person.  Same for Karen Eizenman. She looked the same and it was like we were back in JHS again. It was fun talking to Mark Drabkin, as we go back a long time. He too looks great. Life in CA keeps him young. I had been in touch with Marsha Asnes and convinced her to come. She had a great time too, and she too hasn't changed.

Although I have been in touch by email with Amy Scarola, Cindy Kleiman and Terre Tanenbaum, it still was fun spending time reminiscing in person. Some of the other people there from last time who I got to talk to were Robert Barnes, Bobby Sandler, Steve Sacks, Dennis Fisher, Susan Goldman and Arthur Greene. Great seeing you all again.

I know that Dawn, Sue and Ken have said this is the last reunion, but if they change their mind and unretire like Cher did, I will definitely go.

WOW!!  I remember Chou Chou cup stopping on my old street (244th street in Douglaston).  I also remember the long walk to school along the service road of the expressway past the A&P.  Then after school the walk to MJCC for hebrew school and then later for Bar Mitzvah lessons while Cantor Rackoff snacked from his ever present box of raisins.  Does anyone remember Gaby's luncheonette?

Dawn Kopman (Whidden) (1968)

are you referring to THE NOSH R RYE? That was the name of the Luncheonette on Beech Hills side.
