We had our mini reunion last week. Putting the last 40 years into this message is near impossible and I won't attempt to even try but it was great seeing all of the stickball, basketball, box baseball... ( think I see a pattern) group again after all these years. It's hard to believe how I'm the only one that still looks like I did in JHS - when did the other guys get so old?

I mentioned that evening that we grew up at such a great time. The neighborhood had so many people our age, that we could just go outside after school and get together for a game of whatever depending on the season, no play dates, no computer games, no fear of going just about anywhere at any time. They say things are supposed to improve with progress - Not in this case. I wouldn't trade the times or friends for anything.

Kenny,

Maybe you still look the same as in JHS because you never graduated JHS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only kidding !!!!

FOR EVERYONE NOT AT OUR MINI REUNION:

YOU CAN SEE WHAT EACH OF US THOUGHT ABOUT YESTERDAYS, AND WE ALL AGREED IT WAS SPECIAL AND UNIQUE. WE WELCOME OTHERS TO JOIN OUR DISCUSSIONS ABOUT YESTERDAYS, SHARE YOUR FEELINGS ABOUT JHS 67 AND HIGH SCHOOL AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD WITH ALL OF US, ALSO POST PAST AND PRESENT PICTURES SO WE CAN REMEMBER EACH OTHER.

WE WILL MEET AGAIN AS A FRIENDSHIP GROUP, TO SHARE OUR YESTERDAY MEMORIES WITH OUR WIVES, OR SHOULD I SAY, TORTURE THEM WITH OUR YESTERDAYS, THEY KNOWING WE CANNOT REMEMBER TODAY

Ken Ellert's wife Carole is writing this. I think it is great that you all met to relive your youth! I teach and the kids today don't get together without a planned playdate. Like all of you, I just went out my door and had many friends to play with. You all look great---I recognized most of you :) How did we all get from our teens and twenties to now??? Good seeing you all!

Hi Carole,
Sometimes I wish we remained in our teens and 20's. Life was great! We were too immature and ignorant to worry about everyday problems as we do now ! All we did was have fun ! We went outside and were not glued to a TV set or computer playing X-BOX or one of those other games which prohibits kids from having a social life ! Yes, those were great times and last week's reunion brought back some of those wonderful times.

Sandy Deitch (Reichsfeld) (1962)

I e-mail Mrs. Garfunkle when I saw her on this site. She was my Spanish teacher. I can't believe I even remember some of the phrases or words she taught me.

I still keep in touch with Mr.Gerry Caliendo. I couldn't believe it when he told me he doesn't use a computer so he doesn't have an e-mail. We've had breakfast and lunch together at different times when I went into NY to see family. I now live in Scottsdale, Arizona.

I am planning on going to the reunion and will see if Caliendo wants to go.

Hi Everyone

Just thought I'd say hi to all. Hope everyone is okay and having a great summer.

Hello all. Just thought I'd drop in and say hello and let everyone know how an old friend is doing.

My song writing career is moving along. I've made lots of contacts and have been able to get some tunes demoed.

Please go to www.myspace.com/cablumsongwriterlyricist to be able to hear my latest efforts. There's also an interview on the page I did with NBRN Internet Radio.

The latest song I've uploaded on my player is called "Two Steps Back." There is a singer songwriter located in The Carolina's who put the music to my lyrics and did the vocals. His name is Greg Knight and he just finished recording a CD and this song made the cut and is going to be on the CD.

Hope those of you that take a listen enjoy. Please tell me your thoughts.
